The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped two matches to a pair of nationally-ranked opponents, Saturday.
The Cougars dropped the opener to #5 Vassar, 3-0, and fell to #14 Lasell, 3-1, in the nightcap.
In the opener,
Anthony DePalma had a team-high 11 kills and
Benjamin Clendening had three kills and three blocks.
Kyle Ganoe had 10 assists and six digs.
The Cougars lost 25-18, 25-10, 25-21.
Against Lasell, DePalma had 15 kills, 14 digs, two blocks and two aces.Â
James Walsh had eight kills and
Logan Romeika added seven kills.
Kyle Ganoe had 19 assists and
Gannon DeFrain added 14 assists while
Joe Kozak had three blocks.
After dropping the opening set, 25-15, the Cougars rallied to win the second set, 27-25. Lasell took the next two, 25-22, 25-20.
