Connor Bevan had four goals, including the game-winner, to lift the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to a 13-12 win at Susquehanna in double-overtime, Wednesday.

Robert Wagner had a goal and five assists and
Jared Pelliccione scored twice as the Cougars improved to 2-0.

Sean Wallace made 15 saves in goal and
Ciaran Keenan had three groundballs and three caused turnovers and while
Trey Stasse had three groundballs.

Don Conway had two groundballs and
Spencer Sundeberg and
Jake Miller both had two caused turnovers.

Keenan scooped up a groundball off a save by Wallace 30 seconds into the second OT and Wagner found Bevan for the game-winner with 3:19 left.

Vandenberg, Pelliccione and Wagner all scored in the first period and the teams were tied 3-3 after one quarter.

After Susquehanna took a 5-3 lead early in the second quarter, Vandenberg scored three straight goals in a 30-second span to give MU a 6-5 lead.

Susquehanna pulled even just before halftime.

Michael Kilgallon III gave MU a 7-6 lead less than three minutes into the third quarter and Bevan scored twice in 25 seconds to make it 9-6 with 9:00 to go.

The River Hawks chipped away and eventually tied with two goals late in the fourth period.
