The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Arcadia in MAC action, Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.
Anthony DePalma and
Kyle Ganoe led the Cougars with 11 kills each.
Gannon DeFrain had 19 assists and
Alex Furlong had a team-high eight digs.
DePalma had a pair of kills to fuel a 4-0 run to pull the Cougars even, 17-17, in the first set, but Arcadia came out of a timeout to score seven straight points and won, 25-18.
The Knights scored three straight points to break a 13-13 tie in the second set and closed on an 8-3 run to win 25-18.
DePalma and Ganoe had two kills each as the Cougars took a 5-1 lead to open the third set.
Arcadia rallied to take a 12-9 lead, but the Cougars answered with three straight points to pull even, 12-12.
Down 24-20, the Cougars scored three straight, but their rally fell short in a 25-23 loss.
