Box Score The Misericordia University women's tennis team swept Alvernia, 9-0, Sunday in Dallas.

Brianna Pizzano, Emily Brecker, Lydia Barbour and Hailey Loughlin were all double-winners for the Cougars.

Erin Cridge and Lauren Visalli added singles wins while Cassie Benderavich and Teresa Thomas combined for a win at third doubles.

Pizzano won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and teamed with Brecker to win 8-2 at #1 doubles.  Brecker won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles.

Barbour won 6-0, 6-3 at third singles while Loughlin won 6-4, 6-0 at number four.  Barbour and Loughlin won 8-1 at second doubles.

Cridge won 6-4, 6-2 at fifth singles and Visalli won 6-0, 6-3 at number six.

Benderavich and Thomas won 8-7 (7-4) at third doubles.
