Michelle Torzilli had nine to points to lead a balanced Misericordia University scoring attack in an 18-2 win over Wilkes in women's lacrosse action, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Torzilli had seven goals and two assists and
Genevieve Montanye had two goals and two assists.

Melanie Carbo and
Molly Celesky scored three goals each and
Skylar Dowling and
Kylee Cush both had a goal and two assists.

Emily Baro had a goal and
Rachel Shook added two assists as eight MU players recorded a point.

Shook added nine draw controls and Torzilli added six and
Madelyn Uetz made 10 saves in goal.

Kush stuffed a shut inside the right post in the opening minute and the Cougars never looked back.

Montanye made it 2-0 two minutes later and Dowling found Torzilli in stride for a goal inside the left post with 10:50 left in the first quarter.

Following a Wilkes goal, the Cougars scored nine straight goals to take a 12-1 lead at halftime.

MU scored five straight in the second to stretch the lead to 17-1 early in the fourth quarter.
