The Misericordia University women's tennis team beat Wilkes for the second time in eight days to advance to the MAC Freedom championship match, Thursday in Dallas.

Hailey Loughlin was a double-winner and
Erin Cridge won 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles to close out the match as the Cougars improved to 13-6 and reached the championship match for the first time since 2016.

Loughlin won 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles.

After the match was suspended due to rain on Wednesday, the Cougars picked up where they left off to sweep the doubles matches.

Breanna Pizzano and
Emily Brecker cruised to an 8-0 win at first doubles and
Lydia Barbour and
Erin Cridge won 8-4 at number two.

Cassie Benderavich pulled out an 8-7 (7-2) win at number three.

Misericordia will travel to Stevens for the MAC Freedom championship match, Saturday.
