The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team fell to Stevens, 27-7, in the MAC Freedom Semifinals, Wednesday night.

Robert Wagner had four assists to lead MU and
Michael Kilgallon III and
Kyle Vandenberg scored two goals each.

Ryan Vandenberg,
Jared Pelliccione and
Brendan Stanley all added goals.

Nick Mehnert had a team-high 12 ground balls and Wagner,
Jake Miller,
Michael Scarpulla,
Connor Bevan and
Sean Wallace had three each.

Ciaran Keenan had a team-high four caused turnovers.

Down 3-0, Pelliccione got the Cougars on the board with 5:46 to play in the first quarter.

Stevens scored with :09 remaining to take a 4-1 lead after one period and scored seven straight goals to take a 11-1 lead with 4:52 to go in the second quarter.

Wagner ended his career as MU's all-time leading scorer with 327 points and 182 assists and is fifth in career goals with 145.

Kyle Vandenberg finished sixth with 199 career points and fourth with 152 career goals, including a school single-season record 56 this season.

Ryan Vandenberg had the second-highest single-season goal total with 53 and finished eight all-time with 110 career goals.
