Muhlenberg Men's Soccer Edges MU

The Misericordia University men's soccer team dropped a tough 2-1 decision to Muhlenberg, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Logan Moore scored on a penalty kick in the 73rd minute for MU.

Muhlenberg converted a PK in the 44th minute and added an insurance goal in the 61st minute.

After an offsides call negated an MU goal in the 19th minute, Max Gariano intercepted a pass from the Muhlenberg keeper near the top of the box, but his shot floated over the crossbar.

Max Jamieson's shot from 12 yards out was denied on a diving save at 20:05.

MU's Charlton Alonso made a diving stop in the 47th minute, but the Mules got a second goal 14 minutes later.

Alonso made four saves in goal.
