Shane Macko scored his first career goal as the Misericordia University men's soccer team opened its MAC Freedom schedule with a 1-1 draw at Lebanon Valley.

Drew Weaver assisted on the goal to pull the Cougars even in the 79^th minute and Santino Jannotte made four saves in goal.

Weaver ran down a ball in the corner and beat a defender on the right edge of the box where he dribbled to the end line and played a perfect cross to Macko, who headed it home inside the left post.

Both teams had potential game-winnings goals hit the frame in the closing minutes.

Leb Val hit the crossbar off a re-start from just outside the box at 86:45 and Jannotte collected the rebound near the right post.

Corbin Lankford's big throw from the right side was headed down in the box and Macko nearly struck again, but his chip shot from six yards out caromed off the right post at 88:44.
