The Misericordia hockey team picked up another point with a 3-3 tie at nationally-ranked Stevenson, Saturday.
Jack Tos,
Ryan Karbach and
Patrick Toomey all scored for the Cougars.
Anthony Shrum made 44 saves in goal.
Toomey gave the Cougars a 3-2 lead in the third period, but the Mustangs scored a power play goal with less than minutes to play to force overtime. Stevenson won the shootout.
Stevenson took a 1-0 lead at 14:01 of the first period, but Tos pulled MU even less than four minutes. He skated from the left side and stuffed a shot inside right post at 17:26.
Stevenson went back in front early in the second period, but once again, the Cougars wasted no time in responding.Â
Karbach scored from the left slot to tie score, 2-2, at 7:22.
Toomey stuffed home a rebound to give MU a 3-2 lead with less than seven minutes to play in the third period.
