The Misericordia University Rocket League team fell to Post University, 4-0, in the NECC East Division final, Thursday night.
Post University earned an auto-bid to the NECC National Tournament in the spring.
Post edged the Cougars, 3-2, in the opener and took the middle two games, 5-1, 6-1 to take a 3-0 series lead.
MU rallied, but ultimately fell 2-1 in the finale.
The capped a solid fall season that featured strong performances all season by
Chris Dindino,
Brady Carmody and
Kareem Jefferson.
Dindino had two shots, three goals and 11 saves.
Jefferson had two goals and 15 saves and Carmody had a goal, two assists and seven saves.
Misericordia will resume play in January.
