The Misericordia University men's volleyball team swept Baldwin-Wallace in a match-up of nationally-ranked teams, Saturday in Geneva, NY.

The #16 Cougars won 25-15, 27-25, 25-19.

Jared Piontkowski had 11 kills and six blocks and Ben Clendening had eight kills and seven blocks.

Zane Martin added six kills, three blocks and an ace.

The Cougars used a 6-0 run to break a 12-12 tie in the opener.Â

Anthony DePalma had two kills to go along with two BW errors to give MU an 18-12 lead.

DePalma added two more kills as the Cougars ended the set on a 6-1 run.

Gannon DeFrain and Martin had kills to cap a 4-0 and give MU a 11-5 lead in the second set, but the Yellowjackets rallied and eventually took a 25-24 lead.

The Cougars took advantage of two BW errors to pull out a 27-25 win.

Leading 19-18 in the finale, Piontkowski's kill and four straight Baldwin Wallace errors gave MU a 24-19 lead.
