MU Men's Volleyball Sweeps Tri-Match

The Misericordia University men's volleyball team swept a pair of matches, including their MAC opener, Saturday afternoon on Doc Mould Court.

The Cougars opened MAC play with a 3-0 win over Hood and added a sweep of Mt. Aloysius College in the nightcap.

In the opener, Matt Albrecht led the Cougars with five kills and four blocks while Kyle Ganoe had four kills and two aces.  James Walsh had four aces and two blocks and Joe Kozak had four kills and two blocks.

Gannon DeFrain had 13 assists and Richie Ragonese had six digs.

Against Mt. Aloysius, Kyle Ganoe had nine kills and four aces while Gannon DeFrain had 11 assists and four aces.  Kozak had four blocks.
