The #17 Misericordia University men's volleyball team improved to 12-4 with a 3-0 sweep at Emmanuel, Friday night in Boston.
Anthony DePalma led the Cougars with 10 kills and four aces while
Zane Martin had nine kills and two blocks.
Jared Piontkowski added seven kills, three aces and two blocks.
Gannon DeFrain had 28 assists.
The Cougars never trailed in the first set and used 5-0 run to take an 11-4 lead on the way to a 25-15 win.
Piontkowski had back-to-back aces during a 7-2 run to give MU an 18-11 lead in the second set.
DePalma and Martin both had kills down the stretch to clinch a 25-21 win.
Martin had three kills in a 5-0 run as the Cougars raced out to an 18-5 lead in the finale.
