Kean scored five runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to rally for an 11-10 win over the Misericordia University baseball team, Friday afternoon in Union, NJ.
Kean took advantage of an MU error and ended the game on a three-run walk-off homer.
Jack Regenye had four hits to lead the Cougars and
Brock Bollinger doubled and homered to drive in the four runs.
Connor Maryniak drove in three runs on two hits and
Jason Sanfilippo and
Joe Comins both had two hits.
Steve Rinda scatter nine hits over 8.2 innings, but earned no-decision.
After Kean took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second, MU answered with three runs in the top of the third.
Bollinger and Maryniak had RBI-doubles during the rally and Sanfilippo singled in a run.
The Cougars batted around to score seven runs and take a 10-2 lead in the top of the fourth.
Bollinger had a three-run homer and Maryniak had a two-run blast in the inning.
Kean got four runs back in the bottom of the fourth and the score held until the game-winning rally.
