Cougars Drop Two Tough Matches

The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped a pair of tough matches to Hobart and number-one Wentworth, Friday evening at Hobart.
 
MU fell to Hobart, 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-21), and lost an even closer match to Wentworth, 3-0 (30-28, 25-23, 28-26.
 
Jared Piontkowski had a team-high 14 kills against Hobart and Ben Clendening had five blocks.
 
Piontkowski led the way against Wentworth with 19 kill sand Anthony DePalma added eight kills and four aces.
 
Clendening had four more blocks while Piontkowski and Zane Martin three blocks each.
