The Misericordia University Rocket League team upset top-seeded Lander University, 3-2 in overtime, in the first round of the NECC East Regional Championships, Sunday.
The fourth-seeded Cougars dropped the opener, 4-0, but rallied to win game two, 2-1, thanks to a pair of unassisted goals from
Chris Dindino.
Lander took game three, 3-2, in overtime and the Cougars responded with a 1-0 win in game four. Dindino scored the game-winner with zero boost by cutting across all three defenders to force a fifth game.
