Bryan Henry threw a complete-game six-hitter to earn his first career win as the Misericordia University baseball team defeated St. John's (MN), 2-1, Monday afternoon in Port Charlotte FL.
 
Andrew Van Horn drove in the game-winning run in the top of the seventh.
 
Connor Maryniak had a triple and scored the game-winning run and Brock Bollinger drove in a run.  Jason Sanfilippo had two hits.
 
The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.  Garrett McIlhenney reached via error to open the game and later scored on Bollinger's single to center.
 
After St. John's tied it in the sixth, MU scored the winning run in its next at-bat.
 
Maryniak led off with a triple to center field and came home on Van Horn's sac fly to center.
 
Henry retired the side in order in the seventh and eighth innings and stranded two runners in the bottom of the ninth.
