Bevan, Kilgallon Reach Milestones in Men's Lax Win

The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team ended the regular season with a 19-4 win at FDU-Florham, Saturday.

Jared Pelliccione led the Cougars with five goals and an assist and Connor Bevan and Michael Kilgallon III both scored four goals.

Bevan set a new school single-season record with his 59th goal while Kilgallon scored the 100th goal of his career.

Spencer Sundeberg had three ground balls and three caused turnovers and Michael Scarpulla had four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Jake Louis gave the Cougars a lead it would never relinquish with 11:51 left in the first quarter and Pelliccione scored less than a minute later.  Pelliccione added two more goals in the period and the Cougars led 6-1 after one quarter.

Bevan tied the school single-season record early in the second quarter and broke the mark with his 57th goal five minutes later to make it 9-2.

Kilgallon scored his 100th career goal to give MU a 19-3 lead late in the third period.

The Cougars will travel to Stevens for a MAC Freedom semifinal, Wednesday.
