Box Score The Misericordia University women's tennis team clinched second seed in the MAC Freedom with a thrilling 5-4 win at Lebanon Valley, Saturday evening.

Four of the six singles matches went to three sets with MU's Isabella Aniska clinching the win in a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) tiebreaker at sixth singles.

Brianna Pizzano won 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 at first singles and Emily Brecker won 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 at third singles.  Lydia Barbour won 6-2, 6-2 at number four and Erin Cridge rallied to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 at number five to set the stage for Aniska.

Hailey Loughlin and Barbour won 8-4 at second doubles.

The Cougars will host Lebanon Valley in a rematch in a MAC Freedom semifinal, Tuesday.
