The Misericordia University men's lacrosse dropped a hard-fought 14-6 decision to nationally-ranked Stevens, Saturday afternoon on Mangelsdorf Field.

Connor Bevan had three goals and an assist to lead the Cougars while
Brendan Stanley had a goal and an assist.Â
Michael Kilgallon III and
Connor Gundersen both added goals.

Trey Stasse had five ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Gundersen scooped up a loose ball in front of the goal scored MU's first goal early in the second quarter.

Bevan drove and found Stanley in front of the net for MU's second goal to get the Cougars within 7-2 heading to halftime.

Bevan scored early in the third period and scored on a tough-angle shot from the left-wing midway through the fourth quarter.

He scored from the same spot late in the fourth cut the deficit to 14-5.

Kilgallon fired a shot inside the right post for the final goal of the game with 1:03 to play.
