The Misericordia University men's soccer team fell to Lycoming College, 2-0, in a non-conference matchup, Tuesday night.
Christian Woobay scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Warriors to victory.
The visitors opened the scoring at 13:45.
Lycoming was awarded a penalty kick less than a minute later that was stopped by MU's
Santino Jannotte.
Jannotte was tested once again with a sprawling save to his right at 22:51.
Woobay scored his second goal of the night at 34:11.
MU's best scoring opportunity came in the 37
th minute when a well-placed corner found the foot of
Elijah Uray. He sent a screaming shot to the upper portion of the goal from the top of the box, but a reactionary save by the Warriors' keeper kept the Cougars off the board.
Still looking for their first goal of the match, MU put together a string of possession time in the Warriors' zone late in the match.
Anthony Yarabinee sent a pair of shots towards the goal in the 87th and 90th minutes of play, but both balls missed high.
The Cougars welcome Wilkes University to Mangelsdorf Field, Saturday at 3:30.
