Ken Chertow has resigned as the head women's wrestling coach at Misericordia University to focus on his wrestling camps and clinics, Chuck Edkins, director of athletics has announced.

Chertow spent the last year on staff in preparation for the team's inaugural varsity season.

"Misericordia University appreciates Ken's efforts in promoting our women's wrestling program and get it off of the ground," said Edkins.  "We are excited to offer women's wrestling at MU.  We wish Ken the best."
