The Misericordia University women's wrestling team lost to Cedar Crest, 33-10, Tuesday night in the Anderson Center.
Kamryn Kramer and
Kailey Remish both recorded wins for the Cougars.
Kramer won by technical superiority, 10-0, in her season debut at 110 pounds.
Remish added a fall at 145 pounds.
Kramer opened the match with a single-leg takedown on the edge of the mat. She added another takedown midway through the first period to take a 4-0 lead.
Kramer used a headlock and leg sweep for another takedown to extend the lead to 6-0 with a minute remaining in the first period.
She countered a shot and spun behind for a takedown and an 8-0 lead early in the second period.
Kramer used an ankle pick to secure one more takedown and a 10-0 win at 5:25.
Remish came from behind after giving up an early four-point move.
She fought off a front headlock and secured a single-leg takedown before using a half-nelson to record the fall at 1:37.
