The Misericordia University women's tennis team claimed its home opener with a 6-1 win over Cortland, Friday.

Hailey Loughlin, Erin Cridge, Isabella Aniska and Gabrielle Chantiloupe were all double winners for the Cougars.

Brianna Pizzano added a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles and Teresa Thomas and Lydia Barbour were parts of doubles victories.

Loughlin won 6-1, 6-4 at second singles and teamed with Barbour for a 6-1 win at first doubles.

Cridge won 6-1, 6-0 at number four and joined Chantiloupe for a 6-0 win at second doubles.

Aniska won 6-1, 6-1 at fifth singles and teamed with Thomas for a 6-4 win at third doubles.

Chantiloupe was a 6-3, 6-3 winner at sixth singles.
