The FDU-Florham women's basketball team used a big third-quarter run to break open a 29-29 tie on the way to a 66-51 win over Misericordia University, Saturday afternoon at the Anderson Center.

Morgan Janeski had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cougars while
Jocelyn Grosch added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Chloe Captoni's layup, the Devils closed the second quarter on a 19-4 run over the final 6:18.

Janeski did most of her damage in the fourth quarter as she single-handedly pulled the Cougars within 54-47 midway through the fourth quarter.

Janeski hit a deep three-pointer from the left wing to open the fourth quarter and followed with a layup after a half-court pass from
Emily Romanowski.

She used spin move for a layup on the right block and drilled a three-pointer from the top of the key.

Janeski's jumper in the lane got the Cougars within 54-47 with 5:46 to play.

FDU answered with seven straight points to take a 61-47 lead with 3:42 to go.
