The Misericordia University women's cross country team finished 20^th of 33 teams at the Connecticut College Invitational in the regular season finale, Saturday.

Madison Hedglin (21:15.7) ran the third-fastest time in school history to finish 16th in the 261-runner field.

Madison Kammer (22:36) was 85^th and Grace Gallagher (22:58) was 127^th.

Cassandra Burt and Rachel Ulrich rounded out MU's top five in 170^th and 194^th, respectively.

The meet featured 16 nationally-ranked teams, including the top five teams in the nation.

The Cougars will compete at the MAC Championships, November 1.
