The Misericordia University Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team dropped a 2-1 decision to Marywood, Tuesday.

The Cougars won the opening game via forfeit and had knockouts by Hayden DiGennaro and Anthony Cardona in a back-and-forth game two.  Zach Anspach and Michael Bush also made key contributions, but the Cougars ultimately fell in the final battle of game two.

Cardona and Anthony Marmolejos had early wins in game three and Anspach had a final run, but the Pacers held on for the win.

The Cougars will face Thomas College, October 22 at 8:00 PM. The game will be livestreamed on twitch.com/mis_esports.
