A late penalty kick lifted the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win at King's, Wednesday night.
Max Jamieson converted the winning PK at 88:57.
Santino Jannotte secured his fourth clean sheet of the season while making five saves on the night.
Misericordia's first opportunity came on free kick at 17:08 when
Nicholas Passaniti unleashed a strike that went just high.
The Cougars has another very good chance off another re-start at 27:00, but
Shane Macko's header was denied on a diving save by the King's goalkeeper.
MU's first opportunity of the second half came at 59:59 when
Spencer Pisani's shot was just wide left.
Alexander Sturans' shot off a corner was just wide left at 69:00.
The Cougars earned another corner in the 87
th minute and
Anthony Numssen's header was saved.
Misericordia had two more shots in the closing minutes before Jamieson converted his third PK in the last four games.
