A late penalty kick lifted the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win at King's, Wednesday night.

Max Jamieson converted the winning PK at 88:57.

Santino Jannotte secured his fourth clean sheet of the season while making five saves on the night.

Misericordia's first opportunity came on free kick at 17:08 when Nicholas Passaniti unleashed a strike that went just high.

The Cougars has another very good chance off another re-start at 27:00, but Shane Macko's header was denied on a diving save by the King's goalkeeper.

MU's first opportunity of the second half came at 59:59 when Spencer Pisani's shot was just wide left.

Alexander Sturans' shot off a corner was just wide left at 69:00.

The Cougars earned another corner in the 87^th minute and Anthony Numssen's header was saved.

Misericordia had two more shots in the closing minutes before Jamieson converted his third PK in the last four games.
