Seven members of the Misericordia University men's soccer team have earned All-MAC Freedom status, including four second-team selections.
Shane Macko,
Max Jamieson, Nicholas Passiniti and
Santino Jannotte all made the second team while
Corbin Lankford,
Anthony Numssen and
Elijah Uray earned honorable mention.
A junior forward, Macko started all 19 games and finished second on the team in scoring with 14 points on five goals and four assists.
He scored a goal in a win over Lebanon Valley in the regular season finale to clinch a postseason berth.
Jamieson, a senior midfielder, earned all-conference status for the second consecutive year. He led the Cougars in scoring with 16 points on six goals and four assists. He had a three-game goal-scoring streak and had a team-high three game-winning goals.
Passiniti, a senior, anchored a back line that allowed just 1.53 goals per game. He added a goal and tied for the team lead with four assists.
Jannotte, a junior, was a repeat selection on the second team at goalkeeper. He had a 1.33 goals against average.
Lankford, a senior, made 15 starts at back and scored one goal.
A junior forward, Numssen had two assists in 18 starts.
Uray, a junior started 17 games at midfielder and scored one goal.
The Cougars finished 8-7-4 overall and 3-2-2 in the MAC Freedom.
