MU Volleyball Hosting MAC Freedom Championship Match

The Misericordia University volleyball team will host Stevens in the MAC Freedom Championship game, Saturday, November 15 at 4:00 p.m. in the Anderson Center.
 
Misericordia is the top seed and improved to 22-9 with a sweep of Lebanon Valley in the semifinals.  Stevens is 21-9 after sweeping DeSales in the semifinals.
 
Misericordia swept the Ducks in the regular season nearly two months ago.  Stevens rallied to beat the Cougars in five sets in last year's championship match to win its fifth straight title.
 
The Cougars are led by senior setter Jenna Schuda, who leads the league with 8.4 assists per set and is second .61 aces per set.
 
Sophomore middle hitter Keira McCaffrey leads the MAC Freedom in hitting percentage (.399) and blocks (1.04/set).
 
Senior hitter Meghan Peters leads the league with 325 kills and is sixth with 2.73 kills/set.
 
Sophomore libero Maggie Duda is 10th in the league with 3.2 digs/set and 11th with .42 aces/set.
 
For Stevens, Vivian Lisboa is third in the league in hitting percentage (.321) while Ella Boland (.258), Eva Tarolli (.252) and Sarah Bolduc (.233) all rank in the top 10.
 
Alyssa O'Neal is second in the league with 3.1 kills per set. 
 
Ella Kraver leads the league with .72 aces per set and Lisboa is third with .57.
 
Molly Harris and Alexa Brucculeri are both ranked in the top 10 in the league in assists and Lisboa is second in the league .91 blocks/set.
 
Lianna Schmieder is fifth in the league with 3.84 digs per set.
