Gavin Morris has been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Male Athlete of the Month for October while
Madison Lasinski and
Keira McCaffrey shared the female honor.

A senior linebacker, Morris led the MU football team to a 2-1 record during the month. He had 40 tackles in three games, including double-digit tackles in all three contests.

He made 17 stops against Eastern, the second-highest single-game total in school history.
Â
Lasinski, a junior midfielder, led the field hockey team to a 7-1 month and the second seed in the MAC Freedom championships.

She scored seven goals and had two assists, including three game-winning goals.

McCaffrey, a sophomore middle hitter, led the volleyball team to a 9-3 record during the month and the top seed in the MAC Freedom championships.

She hit .507 during the month with 118 kills and just 14 errors.

She had double-digit kills in seven matches while averaging 2.8 kills, .4 aces and 1.4 blocks per set.
