The Misericordia University men's basketball team picked up its seventh straight win with an 88-62 victory at Keystone, Monday afternoon.

Matt Prociak led the Cougars with 18 points and nine rebounds while
Jack Gallagher recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.Â

Eli Stoute added 14 points and
Arvel Chandler contributed nine points and five assists.

Prociak opened the game with a quick basket, igniting a 22-6 Misericordia run over the first seven minutes.

Keystone responded with 10 unanswered points, but the Cougars regained control and took a 35-25 lead on
Eli Stoute's three-pointer with 6:06 left in the first half.

The teams traded baskets late in the half with Misericordia heading into the break ahead 47-35.

The Cougars carried the momentum into the second half as Chandler forced a turnover and
Nate Townsend converted a fastbreak layup to spark a 13-0 run over the first eight minutes, pushing the lead to 60-35 near the midpoint of the half.

Misericordia continued to score at will, building a 78-48 advantage with just over four minutes remaining.

Despite a late Keystone run, the Cougars comfortably secured the 88-62 victory.

With the win, Misericordia improves to 7-1 and will face #2 Randolph-Macon College, December 29.
