The Misericordia University men's swim team is in fifth place after the opening day of the MAC Championships, Thursday in York, PA.

Jacob Rose (21.62) led the Cougars with a fifth place showing in the 50 free.  Rose anchored the 200 medley relay (1:37.25) of Dannik Khais, Gannon Schwalm and Michael Saladino to a fifth-place finish

Logan Kuhar and Chase McCray were 16^th and 18^th, respectively, in the 50 free while Ryan Hauer (5:05.97) finished 19^th in the 500 free.
