The Misericordia University women's swim team is in second place after the opening day of the MAC Championships in York, PA.
Tamsin Formon set a school record (5:10.72) to win her third straight MAC title in the 500 free while
Lilly Bernard was fifth.
Tori Ellex (24.28) finished second in the 50 free while
Cali White finished sixth. Maddie Cunningham and
Kaylee DePietro were 13
th and 17
th, respectively.
Lindsey Rice (2:17.19) finished in the 200 IM while
Caroline Kovacs was 12
th and
Taylar Fisher finished 16
th.
DePietro, Rice, White and Ellex finished third with a school record (1:47.76) in the 200 medley relay.
The Cougars have 250 points and trail only Stevens in the 11-team field.
