Formon Wins Again, White, DePietro Set School Records

The Misericordia University women's swim team is in second place after the second day of the MAC Championships, Friday in York, Pa.
 
The Cougars have 440 points and trail only Stevens in the 11-team field.
 
Tamsin Formon (4:42.84) won the 400 IM for the third straight year while Lilly Bernard was sixth.  Caroline Kovacs was 10th and Taylar Fisher finished 14th while Taegan Williams was 19th.
 
Cali White (1:56.49) set a school record while finishing third in the 200 free and Jenna Flynn was 11th.
 
Tori Ellex (1:00.79) was fourth in the 100 fly and Tempest Willequer and Maddie Cunningham were 13th and 15th, respectively.  Jaelyn Baxter finished 17th to win the C-final.
 
Ellex, Maddie Cunningham, White and Formon (1:38.68) finished second in the 200 free relay.
 
Kaylee DePietro, Lindsey Rice, Ellex and Formon finished third in the 400 medley relay (4:03.43) with DePietro setting a school record in the 100 back (58.69) on the lead-off leg.
 
Action resumes Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
