The Misericordia University women's basketball season came to an end with a 57-54 loss to King's, Saturday afternoon at the Anderson Center.
 
Jocelyn Grosch and Chloe Captoni were honored prior to the game on Senior Appreciation Day.
 
Grosch closed her MU career with 15 point and while Romanowski had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Ava Cirigliano added 14 points.
 
The Cougars led 36-32 at halftime, but King's used a big third quarter to take the lead.  The Monarchs closed the third period on a 9-3 run to take a 50-45 lead.
 
Down 57-50 with 5:22 to play, Cirigliano made a jump to get within 57-52 with 4:55 to go.
 
Samantha Casey added two free throws to cut it to 57-54, but neither team scored over the final 2:53.
