The Misericordia University Rocket League team suffered its first loss of the season, 3-1, to New Jersey City University, Thursday night.
 
After dropping the first two games, 3-1, 2-0, the Cougars battled back with goals from all three players - Anthony Cardona, Brady Carmody and Kareem Jefferson to win game three, 3-1.
 
The Cougars dropped the finale, 3-1.
