The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team picked up its first victory of the season with a 16-6 win at SUNY New Paltz, Saturday.

The Cougars raced out to an 8-0 lead before allowing a goal with less than a minute to play in the first half.

Jared Pelliccione had five goals and an assist and
Connor Bevan added three goals and four assists.

Ty Murawski scored twice while
Aiden D'Ambrosio had a goal and an assist and
Connor Gundersen had two assists.

Ryan Ott had a team-high three assists.

Chris Dindino made 14 saves to earn the win in goal while
Sean Wallace and
Leyton Sullivan combined for 10 saves.

Seamus Bauer,
Dylan O'Connor and
Jake Vislocky all added goals.

Vislocky scored early in the fourth quarter to give MU a 15-2 lead.
