The Misericordia University STUNT team defeated East Stroudsburg, 15-11, in their 2024-2025, Thursday night in the Anderson Center.

Misericordia secured all four points in the first quarter – Partner Stunts. A tie in the opening round gave MU a 4-1 lead after one quarter.

In the second quarter, Pyramids and Tosses, the Warriors earned three points and the Cougars led 5-4 after the period.

Misericordia again captured all four points in the third quarter – Jumps and Tumbling. Another tie in the first round gave MU a 9-5 lead heading to the fourth period.

With more points available in the fourth quarter – Team Routine- ESU took each of the first two rounds, 2-1, to get within 11-9. Misericordia won round three, 2-1, and the teams tied 2-2 in the fourth round for the final result, 15-11.

The top players of the game for MU with power points of 30 or more were
Caleigh Brown,
Audry Weiss,
Anna Mellody and
Emily Kaiser.

Brown was named Power Player of the game for her increase in power points from the previous game as well as her contributions in all four quarters.
Emily Kaiser was named Stunter of the game and
Kaitlyn Shatzel was the Tumbler of the game.

Misericordia is 2-0 and travel to Erie, Pa face Hiram College and the University of Kentucky, Sunday.
