Â

Â
Regenye walked in the fifth and worked his way around the basepaths with back-to-back steals, putting himself on third. He completed the final 90 feet to home plate when Kanwisher laid down a beautifully-placed bunt, reaching safely on the fielder's choice. Bollinger took off from third and scored on a wild pitch on the following at-bat. Kanwisher came around to score on a ground-out as Misericordia scored three runs in the inning, building their lead up to 11-3.
Â
Things began to unravel for the Aggies defensively in the sixth. The Cougars put up eight runs in the inning, all of which were scored with two outs.
Â
A pop-fly by Regenye found grass between a trio of Del Val fielders, allowing Bunn to score on a throwing error. After Bollinger was hit by a pitch, Kanwisher stepped up to the plate and uncorked a towering three-run homer to left field, giving MU a 15-3 lead.Â

With the bases still juiced,
Matt Yarborough worked a walk to force Burger home from third. A pinch-hit single through the left side by
Gavin McCaffrey knocked in Hoffman as the Cougars' lead ballooned to 16.Â
Â
A seventh-inning solo shot by the Aggies proved to be the final run of the game as MU closed out its 19-4 victory, sweeping the season series with Del Val.
