Two innings doomed the Misericordia University baseball team in an 8-3 loss to Keystone in non-conference action, Tuesday afternoon at Tambur Field.
Keystone took a 5-0 lead in the top of the third and sealed the win with three runs in the top of the ninth.
MU scored single runs in the fourth, sixth and ninth.
Joe Peters had an RBI-double and
Jack Regenye added a double for the Cougars.
Josh Burger was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in MU's first run in the bottom of the fourth.
Peters doubled in a run in the sixth and Regenye doubled and scored on
Brooks Kanwisher's sacrifice fly in the ninth.
