Eleven different players scored goals to lead the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to a 19-1 win over King's in the MAC Freedom opener for both teams, Tuesday night on Mangelsdorf Field.
Connor Bevan had five goals and three assists and
Jared Pelliccione had three goals and two assists as the Cougars won their fifth straight game.
Brendan Stanley scored twice and had an assist and
Connor Gundersen had a pair of goals.
Jason Giambrone and
Aiden D'Ambrosio both had a goal and two assists and
Ty Murawski,
Seamus Bauer,
Kyle Mandel,
Dylan O'Connor and
Jake Vislocky all added goals.
Rusty Carr was 6-8 on face-offs and had a team-high seven ground balls.Â
Dalton Barker had five ground balls and
Cooper Luckenbaugh was 9-11 on face-offs.
Chris Dindino,
Sean Wallace and
Leyton Sullivan combined for nine saves in goal.
Stanley and Bevan both scored twice in the first quarter as the Cougars opened a 6-0 lead.
Bevan and Pelliccione combined for nine points in the second quarter to increase MU's lead to 14-0 at halftime.
