The Misericordia University women's team will travel to Lebanon Valley for a MAC Freedom semifinal, Wednesday at 3:30.
The Cougars are seeded third after finishing the regular season at 8-4 overall and 4-2 in the MAC Freedom. Lebanon Valley is seeded second and is 11-8 overall and 5-1 in the league play. The Dutchmen defeated the Cougars, 5-2, in the regular season finale, Sunday.
Arcadia visits top-seeded Stevens in the other semifinal.
This is the second straight postseason meeting between the teams. Misericordia defeated Lebanon Valley, 5-3, in the semifinals a year ago.
In the regular season meeting four days ago,
Lydia Barbour and
Erin Cridge earned singles win for the Cougars.
Barbour and
Hailey Loughlin teamed for a win at first doubles.
Barbour is 7-3 in singles play, including 6-1 in the number two slot. Cridge is 9-2 in singles, including 6-1 at the number three position.
Barbour and Loughlin are 7-1 at number one doubles while Cridge and
Teresa Thomas are 4-2 at number two.
Katie Berra leads Leb Val with a 10-3 mark in singles, including 5-2 after number four. Laken Kelly is 8-2 at sixth singles.
