The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team lost at Stevens in the MAC Freedom Semifinals, 23-9, Wednesday night.

Patrick Dwyer led the Cougars with two goals and two assists and Ty Murawski and Connor Gundersen scored two goals each.

Aiden D'Ambrosio, Brendan Stanley and Jared Pelliccione all scored a goal.

Will Troiano had team-high four ground balls and Travis Burton, Michael Scarpulla and Sean Wallace all had three ground balls.

The Cougars fell behind 17-3 at halftime before cutting into the deficit in the second half.

Pelliccione and D'Ambrosio scored a minute apart in the third quarter and Dwyer scored in the opening minute of the fourth period to make it 16-9.

Gundersen and Murawski scored in a 20-second span in the fourth period and Dwyer scored again with 3:45 to play.
