The Misericordia University Rocket League team lost to Robert Morris University, 4-2, the best-of-seven series in the NECC D8 National Semifinals, Thursday.

Five of six games were decided by one goal and three games went in to overtime.

The Cougars took the opener, 5-3, thanks to  a
Kareem Jefferson goal and massive demo by
Chris Dindino.

Robert Morris took game two, 3-2, and the Cougars won game three, 2-1.

Robert Morris took the next two games by identical 2-1 scores to take a 3-2 lead.

Brady Carmody had a kickoff goal to start game six, but Robert Morris won in overtime, 4-3, to close out the series.

The Cougars will be back in action next week as they will compete in the NECC National third-place game against Union Commonwealth University (KY), May 8.
