The Misericordia University women's tennis team won its first dual meet of the fall season, 7-0, over Lycoming, Saturday.

Erin Cridge, Teresa Thomas, Samantha Wallitsch, Emily Holtzapple, Morgan Slusser and Natalie Leibman were all double winners for the Cougars.

Cridge won 6-2, 6-9, 10-6 at first singles and teamed with Wallitsch to win 6-0 at first doubles.

Thomas won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and joined Holtzapple for a 6-3 win at second doubles.

Wallitsch won 6-0, 6-3 at third singles and Holtzapple won 6-1, 6-1 at number four.

Slusser won 6-1, 6-1 at fifth singles and Leibman won 6-7, 6-1, 10-8 at number six.  Slusser and Leibman won 6-2 at third doubles.

The Cougars will host Oneonta, Sunday.
