The Misericordia University women's swim team closed out its home schedule with a 118-87 win over Ursinus on Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday in the Anderson Center.
The Cougars combined for five pool/school records while improving to 7-1.

Lindsey Rice,
Brianna Foote and
Tori Ellex opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay (1:50.65) as the Cougars took the top two spots.
Tamsin Formon dropped 16 seconds off her seed time to win the 1000 free (10:56.46).
Peyton Stauffer set a pool record while winning the 200 free (1:58.62) in her Misericordia debut while edging teammate
Cali White by less than half a second.
Ellex won the 50 free (24.37) and White won the 100 free (54.45).
Formon followed with a win in the 500 free (5:25.59).
Rice claimed the 100 breaststroke (1:08.48) and
Taylar Fisher and
Chloe Amadori finished third and fourth, respectively.
The Cougars closed the meet in record-setting fashion to win the 400 free relay (3:33.56). Ellex lead leg was a pool record in the 100 free (52.58) and was joined by White, Formon and Stauffer to set pool and school marks in the relay.
