The Misericordia University men's soccer team picked up its first MAC Freedom win of the season with a dominant 4-2 victory over FDU-Florham, Wednesday night on Mangelsdorf Field.

Brody Eisenhart scored twice for the Cougars and
Elijah Uray and
Shane Macko added goals.

The Cougars had 13 shots in each half and put 12 attempts on goal.

Uray opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the fourth minute and Eisenhart scored twice in a five-minute span to give MU a quick 3-0 lead.

Eisenhart dribbled into the box from the left flank, beat a defender and fired a low laser that beat the Devils keeper inside the left post.

Eisenhart played a through ball to Macko on the right edge of the box where his shot was denied. Eisenhart buried the rebound to make it 3-0 at 16:02.

FDU-Florham got on the board just over two minutes later and MU took a 3-1 lead into halftime.

MU stretched its lead to 4-1 early in the second period.

Anthony Numssen's tough-angle shot from the left flank was stopped, but Macko was there to bury the rebound for a 4-1 lead at 61:58.
