MU Hockey Finishes Sweep of First-Place Neumann

The Misericordia University hockey team finished off a season sweep of first-place Neumann with a 1-0 win, Sunday afternoon at the Toyota SportsPlex.

Jonathan Lush scored a power play goal early in the first period and Mason Jones and the MU defense made it stand up.

Lush batted a pass from Patrick Toomey out of the air in the slot and beat the Knights' goalie with a back-hand shot inside the right post at 3:05.

Jones made 38 saves to earn the shutout.
